Grapefruit Blush Recipes

 SIMPLE PALOMA

1 ounce     Infused Grapefruit Blush (infuse with tequila)

2 ounces   Stirrings Simple Paloma Mix (find at Specs, Total Wine)

2 ounces   Topo Chico or Sparkling Water

Optional:      Rim Glass with Salt or Tajin and garnish with lime wedge

 

Fill shaker tin with ice.  Pour 1 ounce of infused Grapefruit Blush in shaker tin.  Pour 2 ounces of Stirrings Simple Paloma Mix in shaker tin and shake vigorously.  Strain into an ice filled glass.  Add 2 ounces of Topo Chico or sparkling water.  Optional: Rim glass with salt or Tajin and garnish with lime wedge.

 

 

PITCHER OF PALOMA

2 cups       Infused Grapefruit Blush (infuse with tequila)

4 cups       Stirrings Simple Paloma Mix (find at Specs, Total Wine)

2 ounces   Topo Chico or Sparkling Water

Optional:   Rim Glass with Salt or Tajin and garnish with lime wedge

 

Shake infusion jar vigorously and strain into pitcher (this is approximately 2 cups of infusion).  Add Paloma Mix and stir. Pitcher will garner appx. 10 cocktails. Pour over ice-filled glass and top with Topo Chico or Sparkling Water.  Optional: rim your glass with salt or Tajin before pouring Paloma in the glass.  Double the batch by infusing the jar contents in a 32 ounce jar and double the recipe above – should garner 20 cocktails in a pitcher.

 

 

SALTY DOG

2 ounces       Infused Grapefruit Blush (infuse with vodka)

2 ounces       Grapefruit Juice

2 ounces       Lime or Grapefruit Sparkling Water (e.g: La Croix)

Salt for Rimming Glass Or Inside of Glass

 

Fill shaker tin with ice.  Pour 2 ounces of infused Grapefruit Blush in shaker tin.  Pour 2 ounces of grapefruit juice in shaker tin and shake vigorously.  Strain into a salt rimmed (or inside of glass), ice-filled glass.  Top with 2 ounces of lime or grapefruit sparkling water (e.g. La Croix). 

 

 

 THE SIMPLE GRAPEFRUIT BLUSH MARGARITA 

1 ½ to 2 ounces             Infused Grapefruit Blush (infuse with silver or reposado tequila)

3 ounces                         Tres Agave Margarita Mix (find at HEB, Randall's, Target)

Optional:  Rim Glass with Salt or Tajin and garnish with lime wedge

 

Fill shaker tin with ice.  Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin and shake vigorously.  Strain over ice-filled low-ball or margarita glass.  Optional: rim your glass with salt or Tajin before straining margarita in the glass.

 

 

GRAPEFRUIT GIMLET

1.5 ounces     Infused Grapefruit Blush (infuse with gin)

1 ounce          Grapefruit Juice

2 ounces        Topo Chico or Sparkling Water

Optional:        Muddled Basil

 

For an optional twist on the grapefruit gimlet, muddle 3-5 basil leaves in the bottom of a shaker tin.  Add infused Grapefruit Blush and grapefruit in shaker tin. Fill shaker tin with ice and shake vigorously.  Strain into an ice filled glass.  Top with 2 ounces of Topo Chico or sparkling water.
