Cucumber Breeze Recipes

CUCUMBER BASIL GIMLET

1.5 ounces  Infused Cucumber Breeze (infuse with gin)

2 ounces     Lemonade

1 Squeeze   Gourmet Basil Paste (find at Walmart, Target, Kroger)

Optional:     Splash of Topo Chico or Sparkling Water

Squeeze basil paste in the bottom of a shaker tin (alternatively, you can muddle 3-5 fresh basil leaves).  Add infused Cucumber Breeze and lemonade in shaker tin. Fill shaker tin with ice and shake vigorously.  Strain into an ice filled glass.  Optional:  top with 2 ounces of Topo Chico or sparkling water.

 

CUCUMBER BREEZE LEMONADE

1.5 ounces  Infused Cucumber Breeze (infuse with vodka)

2 ounces     Lemonade

Optional:    Squeeze Gourmet Basil Paste to make a Basil Lemonade 

Top            Topo Chico or Prosecco

Add infused Cucumber Breeze and lemonade in shaker tin. Fill shaker tin with ice and shake vigorously.  Strain into an ice-filled glass.  Optional:  top with 2 ounces of Topo Chico or Prosecco.

 

CUCUMBER MULE

1.5 ounces     Infused Cucumber Breeze (infuse with vodka)

4 ounces        Ginger Beer

Pour 1.5 ounces infused Cucumber Breeze into an ice-filled copper mug.  Top with ginger beer.  Optional: Garnish with a slice of cucumber and a lime wedge.

  

CUCUMBER MOJITO

1.5 to 2 ounces    Infused Cucumber Breeze (infuse with white rum)

2 ounces             Sprite, Ginger Ale or Club Soda

8-10                    Whole Mint Leaves                                    

Add infused Cucumber Breeze and mint to shaker tin. Gently muddle mint to break up leaves and release oils and aroma – be sure not to over muddle or it will taste bitter.  Fill shaker tin with ice and shake vigorously.  Strain into an ice-filled Collins glass.  Top with Sprite, Ginger Ale or Club Soda and stir ensuring the muddled mint and oils blend. Taste and adjust if necessary (add more mint, more Sprite, more lime, etc.) Garnish with a lime and mint.

 

PITCHER BATCH CUCUMBER MOJITO

2 cups                Infused Cucumber Breeze (infuse with white rum)

2 -3 cups           Sprite, Ginger Ale, Club Soda or Topo Chico

1 cup                  Whole Mint Leaves

Shake infused Cucumber Breeze and pour into pitcher. Add mint and gently muddle mint to break up leaves and release oils and aroma – be sure not to over muddle or it will taste bitter.  Add crushed ice as desired.  Add Sprite, Ginger Ale or Club Soda and stir ensuring the muddled mint and oils blend. Taste and adjust if necessary (add more mint, more Sprite, more lime, etc.) Strain into an ice-filled Collins glass.  Garnish with a lime and mint.  

Want to make a bigger pitcher? Double the batch by infusing the Cocktail Infusion contents in a 32 ounce jar and double the recipe above – should garner up to 20 cocktails in a pitcher.

 

SIMPLE SPICY CUCUMBER JALAPENO MARGARITA

1.5 to 2 ounces     Infused Cucumber Breeze

                              (infuse with silver or reposado tequila)

3 ounces               Tres Agave Margarita Mix (find at HEB, Randall's, Target)

2-3 slices               Jalapeno

Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin.  Muddle all ingredients to release the juices.  Add ice to shaker tin and shake vigorously.  Strain over ice-filled low-ball or margarita glass.  Optional: rim your glass with salt or Tajin before straining margarita in the glass.  Don't like spicy?  Just leave out the jalapeno...you will still have a delicious cucumber margarita.

 

CUCUMBER GIN COOLER

1.5 ounces                Infused Cucumber Breeze (infuse with gin)

1.5 – 2 ounces          Republic Spirit Blends Grapefruit Lime Mix

                                 (find at Total Wine, Specs, HEB, Kroger, Central Market)

Top                           Club Soda

Combine all ingredients into ice-filled shaker tin. Shake vigorously.  Strain into an ice-filled low-ball glass.  Top with club soda.

Optional:  Rim glass with tajin for spice or sugar for a sweet cooler.

 

CUCUMBER BREEZE  BLOODY MARY

1.5  to 2 ounces           Infused Cucumber Breeze (infuse with vodka or gin)

5 ounces                      Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix

Fill shaker tin with ice. Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin and shake vigorously. Strain into an ice-filled high-ball glass. Optional: Rim with Tajin or Salt, Garnish with Cucumber or Lime.
